These logs are excerpts from my daily all-band reports, mainly SWBC, also
VHF/UHF, sometimes utility, ham, which may be found in several archives without
much delay, such as
http://www.hard-core-dx.com/index.php?topic=Hauser
And compiled weekly along with extensive news from many other individuals and
publications in DX LISTENING DIGEST:

All my MW DX reports starting August 2011 are archived in this forum with open
access:
http://forums.wtfda.org/showthread.php?6543-MW-DX-from-Enid-OK-by-Glenn-Hauser/page36
All times and dates strictly UT. Rx: mostly DX-398 or PL-880 with internal
antenna only; Nissan stock caradio as specified; FRG-7 with E-W longwire as
specified
** MEXICO. 540, July 12 at 0548 UT, Top-40 music beat, slightly clockwise from
south, i.e. XEWA, Los Cuarenta Principales, San Luís Potosí; rather than the
usual dominator on 540, XETX, La Ranchera de Paquimé, Nuevo Casas Grandes,
Chihuahua; what`s happened? (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** MEXICO. 560, July 16 at 1100 UT, full ID for ``La Tremenda``, NA, i.e.
XESRD, Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, 10/1 kW per Cantú and IRCA, which shows
sign-on at 1200, which would be correct in winter. Have heard it a few times
before but not a regular (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** MEXICO. 630, July 16 at 1103 UT, XEFB opening `Radar 63` morning news, from
``Grupo Radio México, Monterrey``. Fair but never a bigsig here; it`s one of
few Mexicans with a direxional antenna. NRC Pattern Book shows at night, major
lobe is due west; day pattern, probably on already, is broader to the
southwest, and not a notch to the north, 10/10 kW.
Its offspring, XEFB-TV has been a TV DX regular here for many years on channel
3 and then channel 2, ``TELEACTIVA`` tentatively seen as recently as June 17,
2015 before the digital transition (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** MEXICO. 690, July 12 at 0600 UT, full ID for XEN in México DF, ``100,000
watts`` a Grupo Radio Centro station. Yes, but --- at night it`s supposed to
cut to only 5 kW. I wouldn`t be surprised if it`s more than that, as it easily
dominates 690 over Cuba or anything else, such as the open carrier from KS,
KGGF (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** MEXICO. 690, July 16 at 1114 UT, ``107.1 FM y 690 AM``, roughly southwest,
QRM from another Spanish. By now it may be too late for DF or NL at lowband,
and that FM/AM combo leads only to: XEMA, La Mejor, Fresnillo, Zacatecas, 50/2
kW, and likely already on day power. Enid SR today is 1126 UT, definitely
latening past Solstice, currently at the rate of 5 minutes per week {Ironic how
much of our XE MW DX IDs now depend on matching FM frequencies, where AMs are
encouraged to ``migrate``} (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** MEXICO. 720, July 12 at 0554 UT, automated timecheck for 12:54, and 105.7 La
Grande(?) ID, making 4 Hz SAH with WGN. Must have been really said ``La
Kaliente``, as this is surely still XEDE Saltillo, Coahuila. Would-be WGN
listeners can`t wait for this one to migrate to FM-only (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)
** MEXICO [and non]. 1060v, July 16 at 1120 UT, off-frequency station from the
south, 1127 detectable as Spanish, so presumably XERDO Reynosa etc.,
Tamaulipas. More notable is that I still am NOT hearing anything from 1060v
KIJN, Farwell TX on the NM border: see U S A (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)
