Thanks KAZ,

Your comments are greatly appreciated.

Bill W. and I have been comparing DU-DXing results for years now, and we both
have a lot of respect for each other's antennas (he has been using a DKAZ in
various wide-open areas, while I've been using FSL's at cliff-side locations).
The larger FSL's are completely different animals than any broadband loop, and
seem to have a low-band sensitivity advantage related to their
single-optimized-frequency tuning capability. But this "advantage" is
incompatible with spectrum-capture receivers like the Perseus-SDR, and as such
the FSL's are not likely to become popular with the vast majority of
transoceanic DXpeditioners. As we have shown at Rockwork 4, however, they can
provide some high sensitivity on priority low-band frequencies, and with
additional design improvements they could possibly become the tool of choice to
go after extremely exotic, weak DX when assisted by an ocean cliff propagation
boost.

That was a great idea. Since your huge FSL is a great tuned circuit as well and
provides tremendous coupling to your ULR's loopstick, you can likely better
work the really low channels where even large loop antennas don't have great
sensitivity.

73 and good work.. KAZ
