It wasn't as good a morning as yesterday, and I missed the Puget Sound effect that delivered DX to Bruce around 1430UT. However the lower band did fairly well between 1300 and 1400UT.

I realize some regulars didn't make the list here, but I've started ignoring them unless they really deliver.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

774 JOUB English lessons 1258UT
828 JOBB woman in Japanese, 1313UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

639 CNR1 man in Chinese 1336UT, also at this level 1437UT. Earlier ID'd by //945
594 JOAK man and woman in Japanese, 1302UT
1575 VoA. "Voice of America, from Washington DC" ID and Yankee Doodle 1430UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

558 HLQH man talking into quiet vocal music 1327UT //603
567 JOIK man in Japanese //594 1336UT
873 JOGB English lessons //774 1201UT
963 CRI chimes and fanfare, man and woman with IDs, man mentioning Radio Kitaya 1200UT
1053 Korean jammer 1201UT
1566 HLAZ man in Chinese 1425UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

531 rhythmic island sounding vocals across 1000UT; is PI back in business?
693 JOAB pips, English lessons //747 1200UT
702 2BL 6 pips and ABC fanfare 1300UT
837 JOQK man and woman in Japanese //594 1301UT
864 rock music 1308UT
891 JOHK man and woman in Japanese //594 1307UT
945 CNR1 man talking 1327UT //639
1314 woman carrying on 1430-1434UT, not El Shaddai per webstream, maybe Japanese?
1593 CNR1 man in Chinese //6125 1435UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

612 756 819 1008 1035 1143 1179 1269 1278 1323 1359 1413 1458 1494

best wishes,

Nick
