I went out and measured the distance across the yard and I have over 112 feet and the tree in the middle is about 54 feet, so the Super KAZ should work, but may be a bit lopsided. But at 112 feet if I used 1:4 I would have to go up 25-30 feet. I think the tree branched behind the house, I should get close. So it looks like I am still in the ballpark, that is if I do not lose anymore trees. Does the KAZ have to be centered perfectly? The apex will not be exactly centered. The K9AY and EWE's I have built have always been forgiving. The old coax is still out there. I may have to connect an extension, but that is easy. So I may get something up sooner than I thought. I just need some good weather.
