Thanks Bill! This one was completely unexpected here and a big surprise when I dialed down the band after noticing the upper band was enhanced with several strong Middle Eastern carriers.
Speaking of carriers, the x-band was full of weak DU carriers at every 9 kHz, 1701 down to 1503 this morning just prior to my local sunrise. It's that time of year again! 73, -Tim On Fri, Sep 2, 2016 at 8:13 AM, Bill Whitacre <b...@his.com> wrote: > > > On Sep 2, 2016, at 6:31 AM, Tim Tromp <kilok...@gmail.com> wrote: > > > > Trans-Atlantic: > > > > > > 917 Radio Gotel Yola, Nigeria - 8/10/2016 0126 UTC - Very weak but > > generally stable signal lasting for several minutes providing continuous > > threshold audio with afropop music easily parallel to a remote Perseus > SDR > > in Spain which provided a strong copy on this station.
