Amazing transoceanic DX signals can still be received, even during unfavorable solar year seasons. Three days ago the bizarre 657-Pyongyang managed an S9 level at this mediocre location, which (upon review of all the MP3 files recorded here over the past 9 years) was the strongest signal that the wacky station has ever produced here in Puyallup. The thunderous martial music and 3 + 1 pips at 1330 (Kim Jong Un's "TOH") were almost strong enough for someone to feel like looking outside for an incoming missile. An expanded MP3 with the full 2.5 minute fade-in is posted at https://app.box.com/s/77rvvy8s4ieb4o74j3bqvb3kyqj5kqf2
