The bar isn't that high, but this was probably the best morning thus far
in 2017, especially on the lower half of the band. Apart from the audio
listed below many other freqs had respectable carriers.

594 JOAK Tokyo, JAPAN Fair-good at 1352 with a few seconds of
piano music, then man in Japanese.
603 unID Poking through the noise with choral music at 1437, then
woman speaking. Most likely HLSA as others reported.
666 JOBK Osaka, JAPAN Just into audio, with talk by man at 1427.
693 JOAB Tokyo, JAPAN Language lesson at 1350. decent signal,
but more 690 splash than typical.
729 JOCK Nagoya, JAPAN Man in Japanese at 1355, //594.
747 JOIB Sapporo, JAPAN Fair signal during language lesson at 1356,
//693.
774 JOUB Akita, JAPAN Good signal at 1357 with man and woman
presenting language lesson. Up to VG by 1430 - top signal of the morning.
828 JOBB Osaka, JAPAN Fair to good at 1421 with English lesson
(Lesson 31).
837 JOQK Nigata, JAPAN First noted with traces of woman talking at 1325.
Up to fair by 1348 with man in Japanese, //594.
846 unID Traces of talk by a man at 1439
873 JOGB Kumamoto, JAPAN Poor with man/woman with English lesson at
1437, //774 etc.
936 unID Faint, with woman speaking at 1433.
972 HLCA Danjing, S.KOREA Man in Korean through 970 splatter at
1419.
1386 NHK2 synchros, JAPAN Woman in Japanese at 1450.
1566 HLAZ Cheju, S.KOREA Fair signal, with man speaking at 1421.
1575 VOA THAILAND Nothing from them earlier, but up to audio at 1446
with woman in SE Asian language.
Similar to observations of others, no sunrise enhancement seen here, but
rather a fairly rapid slide starting shortly before sunrise.
