This antenna was designed to enable DXers to enjoy exciting weak signal MW-DX reception within a motel room (or out on a balcony) after long range air travel, such as Craig Barnes and I enjoyed during our recent Hawaii vacations. All of the required construction parts are readily available, and the antenna fits inside a custom-sized plastic tote designed to be packed within hand-carry luggage.
