For those looking for a new hobby challenge this summer, the "Heathkit-like"
full construction article for the airport-friendly 3.5 inch (89mm) "Baby FSL"
antenna is being drafted. This compact, lightweight model was specifically
designed for long-range air travel, and it provides powerful inductive coupling
gain for DXing in motel rooms, ocean beaches and other locations.

The related full construction article is now 80% complete, and for those who
have ordered construction parts and are eager to get started, the 16 pages
completed so far are posted at
http://www.mediafire.com/file/x5fev5xikk55984/3.5_inch.doc

When completed (in about a week) the full article will include operating
instructions for getting the best performance from this antenna, or any other
FSL design. Good luck to all who are "taking the plunge."
