Thanks for posting the Pacific Island MP3's from your recent trip to Kona, on 
Hawaii's big island.
Kona has always provided favorable Pacific island results for Colin, Craig and 
me, probably because of its location on the southwest coast of the island, 
relatively far away from the RF zoo of Honolulu. For a DXer primarily 
interested in TP-DX from Asia and the Pacific, it also has the advantage of a 
relatively high ridge of volcanoes running from north to south on the island, 
which tends to reduce transoceanic signals from the east.
Honolulu QRM still can rear its noisy head, though. It wasn't until I went to 
the Cook Islands (2600 miles due south) that I was able to fully escape the 
splatter from 650-KPRP and 690-KHNR, and hear stations like 657-AIR and 
693-Bangladesh.
