----------------------------------------------------------- From: Dan Message 11 in Discussion Plastrons are something i do agree with though, if the worst does happen you know that you have something extra under your jacket that not only keeps you alive, but reduces the force of hits to that area If Ken had worn a plastron when we were fencing he would still have two nipples as opposed to one and a lump of scarred flesh. He was being his usual awkward leftie self so i did flick hits on his chest but he insisted on parrying them so i increased the force of my hits. The blade still went around his parries but EVERY time it hit the same spot and a few times Ken was on the floor whimpering You cant pay for that kind of entertainment! =) ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/IrishFencingForum/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
