grrr....<snores...then wakes up> grrr..   We kinda discussed 3rd Novice Comp. 
Owen (in his manifesto i believe) was for it. I was against it.  My points 
were:  +Calendar too crowded as it is. +Too many comps in Dublin as it is. Must 
expand to include newer clubs. The sport is too centralised. Not really a major 
problem tho.  +Who wants to host it with the sufficent hall space and 
resources? Trinity? UCD? We're preety busy as it is anyway. +Schull should be 
left as the first Novice Cup of year-tradition and its a good place to meet 
newbies. Can't make it earlier, as no one really knows enough, later conflicts 
with rest of Calendar.  Summer only viable time, but by then everyone gone home 
and isn't arsed fencing or travelling (work, exams, repeats etc.)   The Juniors 
IS a good competiton, mix of beatables and top class. <Predicts Kev to win... 
unless he's sailing again...>
