"Does this enable the use case in the issue description? I would think that it
would need to be checked after the script had completed as well, to make sure
it goes into the interactive prompt instead of the console. This is what
CPython does."-----------------

"Duh. I was just thinking about if the enviroment variables was set before
execution. I leveraged shadowofged code to check after the script completes. I
have also double check the behavior with CPython. "
