Hi,

This was reported on #irssi by soroh:
Irssi doesn't seem to process the "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" dancer-ircd (for example
freenode) send correctly. It doesn't see @ and + as prefixes anymore, and
thinks +o and +v are modes on the whole channel, not on a nick.
"@+" instead of "(ov)@+" is not following the specifications in larne's
draft for the 005 numeric, but imo it should get interpreted correctly
anyways.

Some quotes from #freenode:
"clients shouldn't really assume () is present unless the server declares
compatibility with larne's draft, which is another field in the 005 thingy"
"in the absence of (), modes other than @+ (and possibly %) are an error and
should be ignored"
"we're not going to support larne's draft directly anyway, although aside
from that one I believe all the listed fields are compatible"

Greets,

Wouter aka coekie.
