Hello, I've found, that irssi, X-Chat and mIRC violate the RFC when sending a password with spaces in it, resulting in unability to use such passwords.
In RFC a parameter can contain a space only if it is a trailing parameter preceded by a ':'. And that's what I thought an intelligent IRC client will do for a PASS command too. As an workaround, I had to write a hack which made my program accept PASS command without ':' as PASS with one big argument, but it's ugly and it's not my problem ;).
