That's possible.  The /AWAY command supports the "-one" option.  With
that it sets away only on the network where it's typed.  Call "/help
away" to see options to that command.  If you don't have the "-one"
option, then you need to use the SVN version (0.8.10-rc6 or newer) as I
do.  I don't know if that option is implemented in the official stable
release (0.8.9), too.

Short: Switch to the network, where you want to be set away.  Type:

/away -one
