Welcome all bargain hunters, traders and merchants to the place to buy, sell, and peddle ye wares! For the best deals, check it out here at the is-noticeboard! === FOR SALE - Older computer monitors - $5-10 each === Hello, I still have excess monitors, as previously advertised here. I sold some before plus one or two others further did contact me and wanted one but for which we never did get together and I've lost your email addresses by now - so please contact me again if you are still interested. They are in garage storage and some may look a little bit GRIMY with age .... *BUT* the cases ~WILL~ clean up to look as new if you rub them with water and a mild cleaner such as the "No Name 'Creamy Cleaner'" - You can buy that at most supermarkets. Cost is $10 each is you have me clean them up and test them for you - or $5 each if you take "as is" with maybe being a little grimy which you can clean up yourself. They are older standard VGAs (a few could be SVGAs if not tested, and one or two may even say 'SVGA' on the case). They work quite okay, and just are outmoded now by the march onwards to bigger and better things. You must pick up from Strathfield (or if you wanted delivery to anywhere around UNSW vicinity then I'd have to increase the charge to $15 prepaid). If there is any difficulty with meeting times, arrangement might be made by email to leave money (hidden under doormat or somewhere else agreed to) and the monitor can be left for you ~~~ people rarely will steal an old monitor if it is left sitting around with a note on it like "To be picked up - do not remove". Therefore one may safely just take the risk on that .. and it always does goes okay in my experience .. so therefore there is really no great problem about connecting for the deal, it can be handled ~ and any minor difficulties easily overcome, no worries mate! Contact me if you want one...
