As you know, the is-noticeboard has been placed into moderation mode
due to the fact that there's is 'too many' messages been disseminated
over the mailing list with buy/sell notices.

To re-iterate the purpose of this list, it's main intention IS meant for students
who wants to buy and sell items, and it does not make sense to moderate
valid messages considered in this context.

However ever since the last time the mailing list has been placed into
moderation, there is simply too many mails that has been put on the
waiting list. I am not able to screen through all of them, and I am pretty
sure that you will not be happy to see your mailbox gummed up with a
month's worth of email in a day, so I have decided to remove all of them,
and I offer my apologies for those people who has posted up those ads
for the past month, and I will try my best to see that such situation will
not happen again.

I will like to take this opportunity to remind you that in this list, you have
full control over your subscription to this list and it is YOUR RESPONSIBILTY
to register yourself into and out of it. As fellow university students I believe
that most of you are mature enough to start reading instructions by yourselves,
and it isn't diffcult to remove yourself out of the list.

To do so, simply send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

and at the body of the email simply write:

unsubscribe is-noticeboard

and you will be removed from the list automatically.

Note that I will be removing the moderation mode on this list in the near
future, after I change the introduction message for new subscribers in
this list with the above-mentioned policy, and thereafter any emails regarding
about the massive amount of spams and pleas to remove you off the list WILL
BE IGNORED.

Thanks for your understanding and do make responsible use of this mailing list.

Cheers,

Vincent, on behalf of ISD
