something for you to note if you are joining us to
watch the Mardi Gras Parade this Saturday.

Meet outside ISS at 4pm or earlier. PLS BE
PUNCTUAL
Leave at: 4pm
although guides will also take students out between 3 and 4pm. BE
PUNCTUAL
What to wear and what not to
wear?
Try
not to wear open-toed footwear in the event of wet weather or in case
you want to go pubbing later.
Warm
clothes to keep the chill out at night.
What to bring?
Food
and drinks. Although there probably will be food and drink
stalls, it's always good to BYO.
Milk crates for those of us without the benefit of height.
Avoid bringing items that hang loose as
the crowds will be huge and
packed.
Weather
Check
the weather report and bring umbrellas or raincoats just in
case.
Details
We meet outside International Student Services at 4 pm and head off via public transport to a
location where we hope to get a good view of the parade!
You
may wish to come earlier as there will be guides who will take students between
3 and 4pm. BE
PUNCTUAL!!!
Please note that as roads will close at around 4pm, we
will need to hurry to take the
bus.
