Seeking Assistance Through Patience
 
[103.Surah Al-Asr : Ayah 1-3]


"By the declining day, Lo! man is a state of loss, Save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance."

[2.Surah Al-Baqarah : Ayah 153]


"O you who believe! seek assistance through patience and prayer; surely Allah is with the patient."

[2.Surah Al-Baqarah : Ayah 155-157]


"And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient. Who, when a misfortune befalls them, say: Surely we are Allah's and to Him we shall surely return. Those are they on whom are blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those are the followers of the right course."

[2.Surah Al-Baqarah : Ayah 249]


"Allah is with the patient."

Mighty Rewards For Righteous Men and Women
[33.Surah Al-Ahzab : Ayah 35]


"Surely the men who submit and the women who submit, and the believing men and the believing women, and the obeying men and the obeying women, and the truthful men and the truthful women, and the patient men and the patient women and the humble men and the humble women, and the almsgiving men and the almsgiving women, and the fasting men and the fasting women, and the men who guard their private parts and the women who guard, and the men who remember Allah much and the women who remember-- Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a mighty reward."

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By Allah, if Allah guides one person by you, it is better for you than the best types of camels." [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)  also said, "Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all."
