The prediction is based on scientific knowledge.

Weather physics is subject like any other subject in science.

I don't see any shirk in this.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

How can that lead to shirk?  It's just that you are relying on an
prediction when Allah knows best.

Wa alaykum as-Salam,

I slam is not against knowledge.

What you arwe doing by looking at teh weather channell is that you are
making use of SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY.

How can that lead to SHIRK?

God gave you a brain, you are using it to make your life better.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Syed-Mohsin Naquvi

As Salaamu Alaikum

Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim,

Ok yesterday one of my sister's in islam sent me a e-mail regarding
the
Jinn.  I forward that to another one of my companions which lead to a
discussion regarding "SHRIK".  We were just saying that things that we
do from day to day can be leading us astray unintentionally.  Now my
question to you all is can watching the weather channel be consider
"SHIRK" why or how you might ask because it's kind of based on
predictions and them tracking it by the stars or the winds etc.  and
some of us actually rely on this from day to day.  Even though we know
that only Allah Knows Best what is to come.

Please advise

Ayesha
