May I add one more fact to the this wonderful note on why eating pork is harm in Islam. in relation to Pork/Swine, which may come as a surprise and convincing reason why eating port meat or other parts is harm and bad for human consumption: 1. Pork meat contains a much higher proportion of amino acid, building block of proteins that are closely matched with human amino acid. Anyone can wish to eat a human flesh or any meat that is close to it? I think not. 2. Pork has a natural habit of eating, touching and living in dirt, which is a bank of all kind of bacteria, fungus and viruses that are highly contagious and causing disease of all sort. Most of these disease-forming pathogens in one form or another find its way into various organs of a swine. Any consumption of swine parts may cause various form of disease and problems in human. 3. Pork harbour pathogens that may find its way in to human body and cause maladies. All this goes to prove the validity and hikmah of Quraan and word of Allah Subha hu Ta Alalh.
