MOST EFFECTIVE ISLAMIC PERSON Dr.Zaki Badawi
One of the most important Islamic scientists in Europe , and queen Elizabeth gave him an accolade for his efforts in the British Society and she also invited him to a special dinner in Buckingham Palace . In the last few weeks he was chosen in a British study as one of the most effective persons in the British society and of the most power he came no 44 in a list of 130 persons described by the committee as the most powerful in Britain .
He is Dr. Zaki Badawi principle of the British Islamic Faculty in London . In a long television interview he said : Fait played an important role in my life when I was chosen after my graduation from Al-Azhar Islamic university to go to England . There I studied Psychology in the London university and completed my studies and that encouraged me to get my Bs , its subject was Islamic ideas in Egypt and its effect on countries in Asia . The reason for choosing that subject was that I had traveled to Malesia and a few other East Asian countries when I had been told to establish an Islamic university in Malesia and after completing my task I was asked by Malaya university in Singapore to establish a class for teaching Arabic and Islam . I worked there for a few years as a professor in the university of Payer university and then as principle of the university . Then I worked in King Abd-Aziz's research center after which I began my long Islamic courier in England that started from 1978 till now .

The Sunday Times Newspaper said that I had been chosen as the most powerful Islamic person in Britain , and that I and Father John Paul had come in 44th position in a list of a 130 persons described by the study made by Dr. Terry Keylard as the most powerful and affective in the British society . We were chosen upon a basis of to what extent does that person persuade people and persuade them to do as he says . There was a survey that went on for a year until they achieved their results . The funny thing about the study is that Queen Elisabeth came no 100 followed by Prince Charles while no 1 was Mr. Tony Blair the prime-minister .
WHY HE WAS CHOSEN
I think the reason that I was chosen in that study is because of my Islamic invocation which started in 1978 after the British Islamic Embassy had invited me to lead the Islamic culture center and the main mosque in London and I agreed one term which was that I don't get any money for doing so . I remained in that post until 1981. In addition I took part in the negotiations with the bank of England for getting a permission to establish an Islamic fund foundation and we got the permission and we established the Islamic House of Money and I was head of the foundation from 1983 till 1985 . I also took part in the general Islamic assembly in London which was attended by over 100 sheiks and I was honored by being the president of the meeting.
I am also the head of the British Law Council and it is a council formed of 15 members representing all the different beliefs and laws .

In 1984 the International Islamic Invocation Council decided to establish a project that I had proposed a while ago which is an Islamic Faculty in London . The project saw the first sign of light in 1988 , and it was designed to study the holy Quran and the Sonna and all other Islamic fields as well as physiology . I thank god that all the foundations that I was president of were chosen by the British government as the strongest in England.
