Why are we adopting western
initiatives when our values are different than them and the outcomes/results of
this similar initiative in the west is doubtful of its successness, yet
worsen.
And yet, why not tackle the main
sources/roots of our degrading morale values such as pornographic VCDs which
abundant and flourish under the banner of Islam hadhari, mainstream media of
which promoting these free-sex values/way of life, teenagers'
publications/magazines that openly giving perverted advise of which to some
extent encourages teenagers to indulge in such immoral activities.
By our government not
doing enough to prevent these roots from flourishing, it is as if
they are endorsing it [or it is because these are their main income
for corporation tax revenue??]

Pendidikan seks tahun depan Oleh Eileen Ng dan Azira Shaharuddin Draf akan dibentang untuk kelulusan Kabinet KUALA LUMPUR: Mata pelajaran mengenai perlakuan seks, onani dan cinta mungkin menjadi sebahagian daripada sukatan pelajaran di sekolah rendah dan menengah mulai tahun depan selain beberapa isu berkaitan seperti kehamilan, perkahwinan serta penyakit seksual berjangkit. Menteri Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat, Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, berkata mata pelajaran terbabit mungkin akan terkandung dalam kurikulum sekolah tahun depan tetapi tidak menerangkannya secara terperinci. Bagaimanapun, Menteri Pelajaran, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, ketika membentangkan garis panduan pendidikan seks penghujung tahun lalu, sudah mengenal pasti beberapa tajuk yang akan diajar. Shahrizat berkata, kementeriannya sedang bekerjasama dengan Kementerian Pelajaran bagi membuat penafsiran terperinci draf mengenai pendidikan seks di sekolah. Bagaimanapun, beliau tidak mempunyai butiran lanjut mengenai bahagian mana draf berkenaan yang memerlukan pindaan. "Draf ini akan dibentangkan untuk mendapat kelulusan Kabinet dalam masa terdekat dan kemungkinan besar dilaksanakan tahun depan," katanya selepas melancarkan Kempen Keselamatan Jalan Raya Wilayah Persekutuan, di sini semalam. Akhir tahun lalu, garis panduan mengenai pendidikan seks diumumkan, merangkumi isu kelahiran bayi, akil baligh, identiti dan perwatakan seksual, imej peribadi dan emosi. Juga, aspek perkahwinan dan kekeluargaan yang merangkumi tanggungjawab sepanjang hayat sebagai ibu bapa manakala aspek pembangunan diri meliputi nilai kemanusiaan, hak asasi, tanggungjawab serta mengawal kemarahan. Bahagian kesihatan dan peri laku seksual pula membicarakan amalan seks sepanjang kehidupan, kaedah mengelakkan hubungan seksual, onani, fantasi, kehamilan, kaedah pencegahan kehamilan, penyakit seksual berjangkit, HIV dan Aids. Turut diberi penekanan ialah aspek budaya dan masyarakat berhubung isu seksual dan perundangan berkaitan, seks dan media, seks dan masyarakat serta pandangan agama mengenai seks.
