We should follow Hadith and pray to Allah for success.
Sheik Nasarullah's request to recite surah Fatah at this time
of calamity is not in any Hadith - hence we should not try to do
things which may amount to innovations.
Recite Qunut. Why feel shy to follow this sunnah of the
       prophet (sal) ?
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith Narrated Salim Abu An Nadr
The freed slave of Umar bin Ubaidullah who was Umar's clerk: Abdullah
bin Abi Aufa wrote him (i.e. Umar) a letter that contained the following:
"Once Allah's Apostle (during a holy battle), waited till the sun had
declined and then he got up among the people and said, "O people! Do not
wish to face the enemy (in a battle) and ask Allah to save you (from
calamities) but if you should face the enemy, then be patient and let it be
known to you that Paradise is under the shades of swords." He then said, "O
Allah! The Revealer of the (Holy) Book, the Mover of the clouds, and
Defeater of Al-Ahzab (i.e. the clans of infidels), defeat them infidels and
bestow victory upon us."

Sunan of Abu Dawood -Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas

The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) recited the supplication
(Qunut) daily for a month at the noon, afternoon, sunset, night and morning
prayers. When he said: "Allah listens to him who praises Him" in the last
rak'ah, invoking a curse on some clans of Banu Sulaym, Ri'l, Dhakwan and
Usayyah, and those who were standing behind him said: Amen.

Sahih Al Bukhari Hadith - Narrated Asim

I asked Anas bin Malik about the Qunut. Anas replied, "Definitely it
was (recited)". I asked, "Before bowing or after it?" Anas replied, "Before
bowing." I added, "So and so has told me that you had informed him that it
had been after bowing." Anas said, "He told an untruth (i.e. "was
mistaken," according to the Hijazi dialect). Allah's Apostle recited Qunut
after bowing for a period of one month." Anas added, "The Prophet sent about
seventy men (who knew the Quran by heart) towards the pagans (of Najd) who
were less than they in number and there was a peace treaty between them and
Allah's Apostles (but the Pagans broke the treaty and killed the seventy
men). So Allah's Apostle recited Qunut for a period of one month asking
Allah to punish them."

{Invite (mankind, O Muhammad ) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom
(i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'an) and fair preaching, and argue
with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone
astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.} (Holy
Quran-16:125)

{And who is better in speech than he who [says: "My Lord is Allah (believes in
His Oneness)," and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites
(men) to Allah's (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I
am one of the Muslims."} (Holy Quran-41:33)

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By Allah, if
Allah guides one person by you, it is better for you than the best types of
camels." [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said, "Whoever
calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who
follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all."
[Muslim, Ahmad, Aboo Daawood, an-Nasaa'ee, at-Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah]
