George Bush shows how even simple tasks are sometimes beyond him
as he
takes a tumble while leaving his Air Force One jet
yesterday.
The US leader, 60 - no stranger to taking ill-advised steps
- often
has aides at hand to cover up for his
slips.

But as Mr Bush, famed for stumbling over
his words, stumbled over his
feet, it was clear he would have to get out of
this on his own.
At one stage he looked up as if wondering when the
hell help was coming.
And the President grimaced as he realised he was
heading for a fall.
Then came a look of bafflement as the most powerful
man in the world
was being outwitted by a set of steps.
Dubya
eventually made it down in one piece as he landed at Andrews air
base in
Maryland following a trip to Florida.
But as he might have put it: "I
seem to have misunderestimated the task."
