A very reputable Multinational IT Co. in Egypt  is seeking a highly 
qualified candidate for the position of Senior .NET Developer


Position: Senior .NET Developer
 

**Job Responsibilities:

1.The ASP.Net developer will be responsible for all phases of 
development with a focus on design and software development. 
2.Develop new Microsoft technology centric web applications as 
identified by firm and IT management (.Net, ASP.Net, C#, VB, SQL, 
XML/XSLT, SQL ).
3.Maintain and enhance existing web applications and systems as 
identified by firm and IT management. 
4.Perform complete unit testing of web applications developed or 
customized prior to release to test or production. 
5.Document web applications for future business and technology needs 
6.Provide training and support of all web applications as identified 
by firm and IT management.
7.Senior candidates will work in a technical leadership/team lead 
role with requirements to establish coding standards and practices, 
mentoring, code review and informal group instruction. 
8.Maintain and enhance existing internet and intranet applications 
as identified by firm and IT management.
9.Must be able to work in a high-paced environment within a small 
team.
10.Report issues, problems and customer needs as they occur to IT 
management. 



**Job Requirements & Skills:

1.Thorough understanding of systems development methodology and 
change management best practices
2.5+ years of experience with .Net, ASP, ASP.Net, C#, VB.Net, VB, 
VBScript, SQL, XML/XSLT, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript and other 
internet technologies in the production and publishing of internet 
and/or intranet websites. 
3.Expert level skills in C# with a background that includes C/C++ 
programming. 
4.Strong SQL Server skills required. 
5.A minimum 3 years of object oriented development and design. 
6.Best candidate will have 7 - 10 years of software development 
experience.
7.Experience with ASP to ASP.Net conversion, classic ASP, query 
optimization, XML, SOAP, XSLT, JavaScript, CSS, database design, 
8.MCSD certification or MCP certification in ASP.Net strongly 
desired. 
9.Bachelors of science in computer science or related degree
10.Show good understanding of the core OO concepts & OO design 
techniques.
11.Strong customer interaction and presentation / communication 
skills
12.Solid verbal and written English language skills
