Muslim Relief Network (MRN)  raises money for purely charitable work and it is headed by well known social workers of Kerala.

"Those needy ones who are wholly wrapped up in the cause of Allah, and who are hindered from moving about the earth in search of their livelihood especially deserve help. He who is unaware of their circumstances supposes them to be wealthy because of their dignified bearing, but you will know them by their countenance, although they do not go about begging of people with importunity. And whatever wealth you will spend on helping them, Allah will know of it. ( Holy Qur'an 2:273)"

How your donations help the needy?:

  • Lack of education closes the doors of opportunity especially in terms of employment and opens the doors to oppression and abuse of the poor. MRN is currently supporting 93 poor children from Plus 2  level with educational scholarships. Most of the beneficiaries of this schem are children of religious teachers ( Maulavis) , Head of mosques (Imams) ,  Mosque facilitators, etc.
  • MRN supports an institution for Physically and mentally handicapped childern in Malappuram District.
  • We help people become able to support themselves without relying on donations, food stamps or welfare. With the help of MRN, a vocational institute in Malappuram is currently engaged in training artisan skills (masonary, carpentary, etc)  to muslims. 269 carpenters and 54 masons already rolled out from this institution.
  • As a political force, hindutva fascism is a failure in Kerala, whereas minorities in the state are still under their consistant militant threat. MRN provides stable support to victims or their immediate families who has been attacked by hindutva fascists. MRN currently offering free legal aid in more than 200 such cases.
  • MRN considers the self worth of social leaders as an important factor of community growth. In the event of death or incurable disease MRN extend its support to social workers or their dependant families. This will help them to survive financially and mentally.
  • MRN actively involved in repatriation of people who has been abused at their workplace, or birth place due to social causes.

{And who is better in speech than he who [says: "My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness)," and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah's (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims."} (Holy Quran-41:33)

The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By Allah, if Allah guides one person by you, it is better for you than the best types of camels." [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]
