Subject: George Galloway says: Stop the witch-hunt against Muslims

This weekend - George talks to leading Muslim anti-war activist Salma Yaqoob

After a week when more and more stories have appeared in the newspapers about "Muslim ghettos", and with UK politicians telling Muslim women to stop wearing the hijab, George has changed the line-up for this weekend's show on TalkSport radio.

On Saturday, George's special guest will be Salma Yaqoob, a leading Respect member and councillor and a major figure in the anti-war movement. Salma recently won a "black hero" award as part of Black History Month.

We would love you to call in to the show or text us. We think it's a disgrace that a community that is already under attack should be so badly treated by politicians and the media. We must stop the government and media's attempts to create a climate of fear.

We'd like to hear from all sections of the community: Call in and tell Jack Straw and David Cameron that the real divide in this country is between those who care about justice and those who don't, between those who launch wars on poor countries and those who work for peace - between the rich and the poor, not between the Muslim and non-Muslim.

George's show is on Saturday and Sunday 8pm to 10pm UK time. On Sunday, George will devote the show to discussing the environment and global warming - another subject that politicians love to talk about but refuse to act upon if it hurts big business.

Please call in and show our government that ordinary people will not be divided because of their actions. The phone number is 08704 20 20 20. If you're in the UK you can send a text when the show is on air, to 81089.

You can listen to TalkSport on 1089/1053 AM across the UK (1071 and 1107am in Nottingham and Newcastle respectively), as well as on SKY CHANNEL 0108, NTL CHANNEL 899 & 927, TELEWEST CHANNEL 927, HOMECHOICE CHANNEL 625 and FREEVIEW CHANNEL 723.
If you're not in the UK, you can listen to the show on the web - go to the talkSPORT website and click on the "Listen Live" link on the left hand side of the page.

Many thanks,

The georgegalloway.com web team.
