Salam and hi to all. I noticed that many foreigners in Malaysia are crazy about coconut They have many ways of doing it. When you turn it to juice you will enjoy the coconut without the need to chew it first. Here in Malaysia we hardly buy canned coconut milk. We like it fresh the taste is a lot different and much much better when its fresh. Here is coconut milk recipe a favorite in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. 1) First make the coconut milk.To make coconut milk, a) mix 1 cup of grated coconut flesh with 2 cups of boiled water. b)Squeeze to extract the juice from the coconut. c)Discard the grated coconut flesh once you have taken the milk. 2) Mix palm sugar or if not available brown sugar into coconut milk.Add ice cube. Really refreshing. Try it! P.S: You may add starch noodles with green food coloring (usually sourced from the pandan leaf), red beans, glutinous rice, grass jelly and creamed corn. This is called cendol and a FAVORITE in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand Comment: After I tasted it at your house, I made it for my family they LOOOVEE it.
