Job Title : Reliability Engineer
Languages : - Excellent English language Country : Nasr City, Egypt Job Type: Full Time Description : 1. Anticipates and prevents equipment problems, identifies chronic problems and improvement opportunities. 2. Undertakes non routine performance monitoring of critical rotating equipment. 3. Leads Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations and facilitate use of Reliability tools, such as FMEA, RAM, and RCM, aimed at identifying improvement needs 4. Provides technical support, leadership and direction for condition monitoring technologies (vibration analysis, machine alignment, thermography, lubrication analysis) 5. Analyzes maintenance cost effectiveness and failure statistics leading to the development of improvement projects 6. Stewards reliability programs and indices to management 7. Does equipment assessment during maintenance and inspection opportunities for life expectancy evaluation and repair quality 8. Provides inspection, evaluation, and troubleshooting of malfunctioning equipment and assists maintenance in returning such equipment to full service as soon as possible. Qualifications : 1. Has a minimum of ten (10) years of industrial experience including a minimum of four (4) years of direct plant experience in reliability / inspection of petrochemical plants. 2. Strong coordination and communication skills required. A B.S. degree in metallurgy or mechanical engineering is strongly preferred. 3. Knowledgeable in pressure vessel, piping codes, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors and NDT inspection techniques. 4. Knowledgeable in Metallurgical and Mechanical failure analysis. 5. Experience in use of RCFA tools such as Tap Root, Cause Mapping and Ishikawa Charts Other Skills 1. Vibration analysis both special purpose and general purpose rotating machinery (Bently Nevada ADRE , CSI RBMWare or SKF Prism), 2. Thermography and InfraRed tools and techniques 3. Lubrication 4.
