A Chicago woman claims her boss used her Gary business to help run an
identity theft ring that stole information from clients at a medical
center.
Montrease Young detailed her own role in the theft, as well as the role of
her boss, Alexis Young, of Hammond, in a plea agreement filed Wednesday in
the U.S. District Court in Hammond.
Young will plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess stolen
identification documents, which comes with up to one year in prison.
