Dear All ISPAK Members
Salam o Alaikum, Let me congratulate all of you for assuming the membership of ISPAK Executive Committee. After we are over our euphoria, lets think of the responsibilities we bear as the member of the EC. Our position is volatile because we have to balance our act between three poles, that is, Regulatory Agencies, Our Business Counter Parts, in other words, our competition and of course Ourselves. If we start tactfully and do it well that will be the first step in the right direction. Lets begin by acknowledging respected Mr. Bhutta for his hard work, dedication and successful negotiations with PTCL and PTA on number of issues. The sincere efforts he put in resolving long outstanding issues have benefited the entire ISP trade. Let’s hope that he should continue to serve with the same zeal and enthusiasm like he did in past. Some of us may say ISPAK hasn’t done all that was expected of it. If it is of any comfort, no trade body ever achieves all its targets. It is a continued effort, which has to carry on with the help of most sincere and dedicated leadership. However if we get together and converge our energies and efforts we will succeed in whatever we plan and again all of us including our counter parts will benefit and foremost of all, our country will benefit. Lets resolve to eliminate our differences, if for, no other reason, then to at least maintain the decorum of our trade body. Let us desist from throwing sludge on each other and act with more civility and uphold our images as being the part of the body of the most educated and sophisticated people. Lets trust and support each other and extend the fullest cooperation to the new bearers of this apex office.
