Dear Mr. Bajwa,

 I refer to the e-mail from Mr. Noor-ud-Din Baqai to Mr. Bhutta.  As I discussed with you, you said that you will be coming up with the co-location policy within the next few days.  The reply from Mr. Baqai is not acceptable.  I would like you to finalize the co-location policy within the next seven days at the latest as the matter has been pending for a long long time.  Your immediate response would be appreciated.

With kind regards,

Subject: PTCL should introduce co-location policy

Dear Sir,

With reference to the subject mentioned above, we would request you to kindly issue directives to PTCL for Introducing Co-Location Policy countrywide. The benefits of this project are immense some of which are as follows:

1.Co-Location policy is popular world-wide.

2.It reduces the cost of investment and increases the QoS.

3.PTCL has enough spaces in different exchanges due to conversion from analogue to Digital.

4.PTCL has already issued tariff for inter-connection under their letter no PSP / TECH-069 / ISPs dated at Islamabad 15th June,2000.

5.It will result in increase for the revenue of PTCL and will decrease the capital cost for the ISPs.

Which would help in;

1.Provisioning of Quality Internet Services in over 400 Cities.

2.Creating more IT related jobs in Tehsil / Town Level

3.Creating IT related education across the country

4.Providing tele-education and tele-medicine facilities nation wide

It is therefore requested of your good self that necessary directives may please be issued at the earliest for the subject matter in order to further boost Internet in Pakistan.
