Hi there, I am having errors on the Event Collector with the following in the event logs
*Couldn't get 'engport' from engine" * I have tried the Knowledge base solution following the steps to change the registry on NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation registry key, still have the same problem The issDaemon reports this Couldn't get 'engport' from engine 'EventCollector_MYSERVER', assuming '901'. and the also Engine EventCollector_MYSERVER failed to restart 3 times, force to stop now I also saw another solution, This error usually occurs when you try the "import the Console public authentication key" option which doesn't work quite well. The installation should be completely fine, you just need to manually copy the .PubKey file from the console to the OS Sensor in the appropriate directory then it is business as usual. Does anyone know where the .PubKey from the console is? and where to copy it to in the OS sensor? All other solutions are welcome!
