Hello and a Happy New Year as well,

I encountered the same problem and solved it by increasing the XPU timeout
values. Try this procedure:

1) Make sure the last update has timed out completely.
2) Close the SiteProtector Console.
3) Stop the Sensor Controller Service and Application Server Service on the
Application Server (SP Core) machine.
4) Open X:\program files\[RealSecure ]SiteProtector\Application
Server\Config\IssdkInterface.policy

Find the line:
DefaultTimeout =L 300
Change it to:
DefaultTimeout =L 1200

Find the line:
XPUTimeout =L 1200
Change it to:
XPUTimeout =L 4800

Save this file.

5) Start the Sensor Controller and Application Server Services again.

Regards,

Michael Müller

Betreff: [ISSForum] Manually update SP for Site protector core...

Hello and happy New Year everyone,

When I am trying to Update SP 6.1 for Site protector core, using the Menu
Update-> Apply XPU option found in site protector, I encounter with
an error message saying "Connection timed out while downloading
update". So please guide me how to manually update SP 6.1 for Site protector
core manually. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Gopinath.U
