Has anyone done any performance testing of RS NT?
I was wondering if there are any perf limitations in the system outside
of the network connection.
What I mean is, it is intuitively obviou that the more functions you
have set to detect/alarm on, the more compute power you need.
I have the opportunity to dedicate a quad cpu box to a 100MB ether and
play with it.
Is this worthwhile?
Yeah, if I want to log raw data, sure I will take up disk io bandwidth,
but what about just the alarms?
