The OPSEC interface allows a response to a certain network event to a
checkpoint FW1. You use the putkey process for public key exchange between
the FW1 management console and the RS engine. Then you configure your
policy from the RS management console to make a RS engine instruct your FW
to take a specific response to the detected network event.

At least I believe the above is a correct summary of the process.

Anyway, I couldn't make it work. After a long time I heard that I need a
Checkpoint license for FW 1 that includes the VPN option to make the RS
OPSEC interface work.

Is this correct ??

Need fairly urgent explanation.

Thanks to all.

Andrew Walker
