Thank you for you inquiry concerning Database Scanner. To run Database
Scanner on a Sybase server, you have to:
- obtain appropriate license key
- configure Database Scanner for a Sybase Adaptive Server connection.
Instructions
for this can be found on page 10 of the Database Scanner User Guide, which
is
included in the ..\Program Files\Iss\DBScan\Manuals directory. This
requires
DSEdit (which is included with the Sybase Adaptive Server Client
Utilities) on
the computer running Database Scanner. Check with the Sybase database
administrator
for the Sybase Client Utilities CD.
Database Scanner configuration and operation is documented in the User
Guide. Should you have additional questions or difficulties, contact ISS
