In most cases, a security audit should be done of the devices that are 
connected to the network.  ISS Professional services may assist in 
determining systems that may need to be "hardened".. Certain applications 
may require certain file permissions.  Always speak with your applications 
vendor before applying generic hardening recommendations otherwise the 
server could be rendered useless.

Some other security scanners offer this type of "auto-fix" ability but in 
most cases are based on generic recommendations and may not apply due to 
certain server based applications' requirements
