Hi,

I just happen to have another scenario that is quite similar. I have
2 x Network Sensors running on just one license and at any point of
time, the event collector is only connecting to one sensor. This
setup is more for HA purposes that if the first sensor is not
functioning, the event collector will be required to auto-switch over
to connect to the second sensor.

Is this achievable using the CLI from RealSecure ?

Regards,
Alan Phua

You could probably use the RealSecure Command Line Interface
(EngineMgr.exe)
for part of what you're wanting to do:

Displays the status of the asset, whether it is paused, stopped, or
active.
Command format:
Enginemgr -a getstatus -e <hostname> -n <assetname> [-lib <library>]
[-
mp <configFile>] [-log <logFile>] [-o <outputFile>]

Refer to the RealSecure 6.5 Workgroup Manager User's Guide, Appendix
C for
help with the Command Line Interface.

Hello,
I'm looking for a solution to an interesting problem. Our management
has
tasked us with building a system to verify the "operational status"
of our
ISS RealSecure network sensors. Some type of Heartbeat system that
every 6
hours would "Ping" all our network sensors and verify they are
operational,
and send us some type of "all is well" email ? Has anyone developed
a
system like this ??? We have 11 operational network sensors and I'm
at a
loss on how to do this, any and all help would be appreciated. thanks
in
advance.
