Please elaborate on "controlling" the sensors.

As far as pushing policies, stopping/starting, and editing properties of the
sensors, you can do that remotely through either Site Protector or Workgroup
Manager. If that is what you mean by "controlling" the sensors, yes you can
do that.

Now, if you meant full "remote control" capability, as in PCAnywhere type
remote control, as far as I know, you would have to use a third party
product to do that.

Just my two cents..

Subject: [ISSForum] Controlling many sensors from 1 GUI

From the description of sensors, and the fact that they can be used
over TCP/IP, I gather that we should be able to control sensors
remotely. I have not figured out how to do this. I was wondering if it
is there, or not, and how to do it. Has anyone else been able to tackle
this?

It looks like it might be possible through the CLI, but I have not been
able to understand all the CLI yet, I am still reading it.

Thanks,
David Sayre
