Hi All!

Does anyone have any suggestions about how we can actively monitor Site Protector, the
Sensors and so on? We are using HP OpenView so we have a wide range of options to
monitor systems (i.e. parsing logs, checking for running processes). I can more or
less passively check to see if the system is running, in the sense that I check for
error or non-running processes, I am at a lost for a way to be more active. For
example, generating an event and ensuring that it arrives. For example, we send a
message through OpenView once a day and if this particular message does not arrive,
then we know something is wrong. So, is there are way to activity test that Site
Protector, etc are doing their job?

Any help is greatly appreaciated.

Regards,
