Dear Jim, My answer is in the case you search a solution for Internet Scanner policies.
What I've done is export the policies both to html, import them in separate Excel sheets. Ad a column which identifies each policy (x,y), copy both policies in one Excelsheet and sort by the vulnerability check name. Now you can easily see the checks which are activated in both and which belong only to x or y. Greetings H. Reichert Maybe sometime i will code this in perl ;-) Message: 1 Date: Fri, 1 Jul 2005 17:48:43 +0200 From: "Mohr James" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [ISSForum] Comparing Polices To: <ISSForum@iss.net> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Hi All! Is there any easy way to display the differences between two policies? We made a copy of several of the original policies and made changes to the copies. In a couple of cases, no one knows any longer what got changed. So, I want to figure this out, so that we can document it. Thanks in advance.
