If that doesn't work then delete the current.policy in the c:\Program 
Files\ISS\issSensors\FileServer_Sensor\ directory. Then stop/start ISS services 
and try to re-apply the policy. That has worked for me on more than one 
occasion.

Hi Germán,

I have had error messages like this before due to problems of stability of 
the connection between SiteProtector and the Sensor I was trying to 
update.

Try forcing NICs to 100 Mbps/Full-duplex both in the SiteProtector's 
server and in the sensor's server. It works for me.

I have problems to update a policy in our Sever Sensor. The message error 
is: "Apply policy file to [EMAIL PROTECTED](#120) failed. The 
error message is:ERROR: CommNotify - the wait for an event timed out.
