Justin Bertram commented on ARTEMIS-529: ---------------------------------------- This is mostly implemented, but I didn't want to delay 1.3.0 any longer by sending a PR and then something unexpectedly breaking. To be clear, all of the JAAS login modules from ActiveMQ 5.x have been made available in Artemis. This feature isn't related specifically to a login module, per se. It is a new feature for the security manager itself. > Add support for dual authentication > ----------------------------------- > > Key: ARTEMIS-529 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARTEMIS-529 > Project: ActiveMQ Artemis > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Lionel Cons > > AFAIK, Artemis currently supports only one type of authentication that should > be configured in {{login.config}}. So one can use either > {{PropertiesLoginModule}} or {{CertificateLoginModule}} but not both. > In our environment, we use both plain and X.509 authentication. ActiveMQ 5.x > does support dual authentication via the {{jaasDualAuthenticationPlugin}}. > For more information, see > https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Fuse_ESB_Enterprise/7.1/html/ActiveMQ_Security_Guide/files/Auth-JAAS-DualAuthentPlugin.html. > Could you please add support for dual authentication like in ActiveMQ 5.x? -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
