Timothy Bish commented on AMQCPP-606: ------------------------------------- The AMQP protocol is to dissimilar to the model expressed in STOMP and OpenWire to just bolt it onto the client code of ActiveMQ-CPP let alone the bloat that yet another protocol would put into the libraries that are built. STOMP is similar to OpenWire in enough ways that you can map it into the current client code without a ton of work although at this point the STOMP support in ActiveMQ-CPP is unmaintained and should probably also be pulled out. > CMS: Add support for AMQP > ------------------------- > > Key: AMQCPP-606 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQCPP-606 > Project: ActiveMQ C++ Client > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: CMS Impl > Reporter: Matt Pavlovich > Priority: Minor > > Add AMQP support to CMS in order to close a gap and provide uniform > programming API options for users looking to use the AMQP protocol. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
