Krzysztof Porebski commented on AMQNET-621:
-------------------------------------------

1) There are no asynchronous interfaces because jms 1.0 spec (which nms amqp
implements) is pretty old spec and doesn't introduce any async concepts. They
were introduced in jms 2.0 that we are aiming to support one day.
2) The initial spin for Apache NMS AMQP release was on 3rd of October but was
down-voted by Apace PMC members, we are preparing for the second spin,
hopefully this time we will be able to deliver initial release.
