Next week I'm going 2 weeks on PTO, so I would like to move this one first.
Today I'm going to add some other bits of doc and smoke tests: other
improvements on both doc, tests and changes in the state diagram will be pushed
after this.
The failback case has been made as much as possible able to fail-fast, but I
see that this should cover several other parts we didn't cover with classic
replication too eg
- while awaiting the live to appear: is it supposed to wait forever? IMO,nope
- while trying to connect to its designated live: it's supposed to retry
forever? IMO, nope
These 2 points requires to define the failback operation a bit differently
from what was before, but it's something that could be addressed later, given
that what I'm already delivering is on par (or better) then classic replication.
