Closing — the changes proposed here have been fully superseded by the server consolidation work that landed in master: - **#592** — unified all 7 databases into single `airavata` DB - **#593** — consolidated into single JVM with multiplexed Thrift on port 8930; replaced 759 `ThriftClientPool` RPC calls with direct in-process handler calls - **#600** — wrapped Thrift server as Spring-managed `SmartLifecycle`; created unified launcher with `@ConditionalOnServer` - **#601** — eliminated remaining internal Thrift clients (29 sites → Spring bean injection); migrated Dozer → MapStruct - **#602** — post-collapse cleanup, cold-start fixes, docs/deployment alignment All goals of this PR (unified multiplexed Thrift service, replacing client calls with direct handler calls) are covered and extended by the above. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
